What games are you queuing for?
What game size (4v4, FFA, etc.) are you queuing for?
What categories (Action Sack, Asset Denial, etc.) are you queuing for?
Time of day and time of week matters a lot in the US. Some games in some game sizes are dead as a doornail.
Which Halo games are you queuing for?
And what're you on about for categories? MCC has like 8 categories and none of them are the ones you listed. I'd love to play the other gamemode that halo games use to have but for some reason they decided in MCC you can only have like 1 or 2 multiplayer modes per halo game. Want to play infected on reach? well too damn bad you bought MCC!
4v4 having Auto-slayer and Action sack is also giving fairly slow results, sometimes having to wait 15 minutes between games.
The lack of announcement of release date on ODST is really not helping this situation.
The games sucking ass and major issues not being resolved probably also factor into it.
As your levels of salt intake probably factor in to your physician's concerns over your blood pressure.
What region are you in? USA? Europe? Some populations are a lot lower than others. I've seen people from Australia complain about low player counts. 343i is going to add a region selector soon with population numbers and ping.
Which game do you queue for? Some games have a much lower population. If you have only Halo CE selected then you're going to have a lot longer of a wait time than if you only have Halo 3 selected. If you have Halo CE and Halo 3 selected then you'll get mostly only Halo 3 games.
What game sizes are you queuing for? You can't queue for a 4v4 game and an 8v8 game at the same time. If Halo 2 Classic 2v2 is dead as a doornail you're going to have a lot easier time trying Halo 2 Classic 4v4. I generally find that 8 player Free For All game sizes can take significantly longer than finding 4v4 games.
What categories are you queuing for? By this I mean stuff like Precision Slayer, Auto Slayer, Flag&Bomb, SWAT, etc. It will change depending on your game size. For example: 8v8 doesn't have SWAT. If you have only a few of these selected then you are decreasing your chance of finding a game. Not every game has every category. For example: Halo 2 classic 8v8 Asset Denial doesn't exist and the game won't let you start searching with only that selected.
You CAN play Reach infection but you have to change your game size to 12 players and then Infection is the only category for a group of 12 players.

Just do what I do and continuously play games you find frustrating and then read the news. My heart rate averages around 180bpm most of the day. You also burn a calorie for every 14 seconds your nipples are hard so do with that what you will.
