Sigil sign achievement made easy - Halo 3 Valhalla ( can be done offline )

The achievement requires you to view 2 sigil signs

this can be done offline.

Set steam to offline mode / Disable your network adapter.
Adjust windows to use any of the two following dates.

- January 1 (New Year's Day): Make Love Not War
- April 22 (Earth Day): A skull with a recycling sign.
- May 5 (Cinco De Mayo): Toady Was Live!
- July 4: BBQ at Bob's Place (this is a reference to Marathon in which you kill BOBs or BOB-B-Qing).
- July 7 (Bungie Day): Seventh Column Symbol.
-October 31 (Halloween): A grave stone that has the initials "R.I.P.", meaning "Rest In Peace".
-November 11 (Veteran's Day): Kilroy Was Here.
-December 25 (Christmas): A Christmas light with an X on it.

Boot into Halo MCC : halo 3 custom MP. select valhalla. The sigil will be on the wall next to the turret in the middle of the map. Zoom in at it with your scope and look at it for about 30-40 seconds and shoot at it.

After you done this twice with two different dates. re-enable your network adapter. and go back online with steam. Once online with steam. You will want to logout and logon to the mcc client with your Xbox live credentials. Once signed in go to options > career > halo 3 > multiplayer and it should unlock.

For my test I used the Holloween and Veterans Day dates and it unlocked. The game checks your calendar date on your windows pc.

Worked perfectly! Also didn’t need to sign out of my Microsoft account it just gave me the achievement once I started mcc after switching steam to online.
