You can find a nice selection of Halo: Reach and Halo 2 Anniversary maps and gametypes here.

(Halo 3 megapack is close to being finished. You can find a set of about 500 maps/gametypes through the discord.)
The instructions on how to install these are included.

Looks like the meat on how to handle map and gametype files directly is only in the Install Instructions.txt so I've quoted it here.

I say that you should ignore HaloWaypoint. It sounds like it's Xbox One focused. I still haven't checked it out myself. Use the HaloCustoms megapack link.

INSTALL FOR STEAM USERS:

1) Copy and paste the gametypes in the game_variants folder to your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\game_variants" directory
2) Copy and paste the maps in the map_variants folder to your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\map_variants" directory

NOTES
>> This method places the files in the folders where "Built-In" maps and gametypes would normally go, which makes the game recognize them as "Built-In"
>> Note that installing this many gametypes/maps is normally not possible due to the limit 50/50 private file limits, which is why we are placing these files into the folders manually.
>> If you have a previous version of the megapack installed, please make sure to delete the contents of your map_variants and game_variants folders first before installing.

INSTALL FOR WINDOWS STORE USERS / ALTERNATE INSTALL FOR STEAM USERS:

1) Navigate to "C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\MCC\LocalFiles\(XUID)\HaloReach"
2) Copy and paste the gametypes into the "GameType" folder.
3) Copy and paste the maps into the "Map" folder.

NOTES
>> If these folders DO NOT EXIST, create them. Capitalization is important.
>> This method places the files in the folders where "Local/Custom" maps and gametypes that you create or download via File Share go.
>> Steam users, I would recommend installing via the first method if you plan on moving, placing or deleting maps/gametypes mid-game. Files installed via the local directory have weird behavior when messed with while MCC is still open, such as corruption, deletion, and/or duplication of files, and not updating your changes in-game properly.
>> If you have a previous version of the megapack installed, please make sure to delete the contents of your map_variants and game_variants folders first before installing.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

>> Your game paths will vary if stored in a non C: drive
>> Method to create "LocalFiles" directory: If you navigate to "C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\MCC" and realize that you DO NOT HAVE a "LocalFiles" directory, you can download a map variant / game variant from anyone's fileshare and it will create the location for you. An example of someone with a fileshare would be GT "Jesus In Malibu"
>> Alternative method to create "LocalFiles" directory:

1) Finding your Xbox User ID (XUID):
a) Navigate to "C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\MCC\Temporary
b) Open the "campaigncarnagereport1_1186_0_0.xml" (this requires that you have started / completed at least ONE campaign mission.) With a program like Notepad++
c) Once you have the file open, find the <player> header and look for the line that says "<Player mXboxUserId=0x000900000XXXXXXX"
d) That is your XUID. Copy everything after the "0x".
2) Navigate back to "C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\MCC" and create a new folder called "LocalFiles".
3) Open "LocalFiles", create a new folder and paste the XUID you just copied (without the "0x"). It should look something like this: "000900000XXXXXXX"
4) Open your "000900000XXXXXXX" folder and create a new folder called "HaloReach"
5) Open the "HaloReach" folder and paste in the "GameType" and "Map" folders.

TIPS AND OTHER NOTES:

>> The megapack is large, and due to MCC PC's UI it is not very convenient to scroll slowly to find your desired map or gametype. You can alleviate this issue in two ways:
1) Use the arrow keys to scroll faster, and use the Page Up/Down keys to scroll even faster than the arrow keys
2) Delete maps and gametypes you don't intend on playing (for example if you don't like the BTB, RACE, and OBST categories, delete them).
[Credits omitted]

Don't touch the "hopper_game_variants" and "hopper_map_variants" folder. That's used in matchmaking and will give you Easy Anti-Cheat errors if something's amiss.
