Best Way To Beat The Par Score On A Mission?

I tried to get the festive banner from the event through multiplayer but I have been pretty unlucky with the map selection. I was wondering what the easiest way to beat the par score on a mission is? Specifically ONI Sword Base and The Package

I normally play on Heroic if that helps. I think I also heard that one of the best ways is to play on heroic with some skulls on but I could be wrong. Either way I'd like to hear some suggestions

Generally playing on Heroic seems like enough to get par score. I usually use the skulls Fog, Catch, Tough Luck, Tilt, and Famine. It's also worth speeding through the levels, since you get extra points for beating the stage quickly.

So should I speed though the mission while avoiding enemies or speed through but only really killing stuff in my path?
