Tank Beats Everything Bugged

I've completed the Package 4 times now without even using the tank on Legendary, and I have still not gotten the achievement to pop. Any tips on what additional circumstances need to be met? I've done it in par time and par score so I'm not sure what else it could be. Internet was not interrupted while I was playing, and it's not even unlocked in game, so it's not Steam lagging behind on the achievements. Thanks for any help!

There's your problem, you need to use the tank, not get out and survive till you reach the gates of sword base.

Yeah, you'd think that's pretty obvious. But maybe you can do it without a tank, and it's glitched.

Googling it it seems you need to drive the tank into the parking space after the gates open. But you can kill everyone on foot first, it seems.

Couldn't tell you since I did it first try being slow and careful, going into zones arse first with the tank helps since its less for the enemy to shoot before your main cannon can line up and blast them to oblivion.

i mean, i did used the tank just fine, took it slow, you can blow up the guns by shooting them a few times, as for the part after it, just take it really slow and snipe the shade turrets as soon as you can.

even all the ODST survived, while on the tank, meaning it's not impossible unless you trying to rush it.

in the original game i got to the end of the mission three times not using the tank before i realised that the trigger was the tank actually getting to the base, it doesn't need to get right into the courtyard though from what i remember, iirc past the last jackal tower is enough.

Ya it's not bugged, for me at least. Just did it on Legendary (and it says you need too) and it popped just fine. All you need to do is, when you can get in the tank, stay in it until you get to the gate without it blowing up/leaving it.
