can someone explain how to backstab/execute?

playing casual games. i've had people do fancy backstab animations as well as aerial executions.

how the hell do you do that? it's cool and seems to be a 1hit kill.

also read somewhere you can do falling animations

Yes hold melee button when behind someone. Also when you are at the right position (slightly behind the enemy, facing his back) when falling on top of him and holding the button at the right moment you perform the melee kill as well. Doesn't work 100% times but most of the times. Its about timing. Currently working on video montage with melee/orbital kills :)
