Did everybody get all the unlocks?

I unlocked everything on xbox 360 back in the day, im using the same microsoft account. And im surprised everything transferred over, including the katana and recon armor. Unless everybody got them? (Halo 3)

They are unlocked by default.

I really hate that 343 did this, but I have heard from people that once 343 took over Halo 3 they did this back on console back in the day too. My friend said that one day he just had the Katana and Hayabusa and Security armor.

This was ok back in the 360 days since on bungie.net it says that I played from release 2007 to around mid/end of 2008. Really annoying though that everyone has started over on PC (though you can still link your same microsoft account so they could have had people unlock things that way if you did it previously) but since 343 wants everyone to have easy mode unlocks because "we're all adults now and don't have time" kind of kills the Halo 3 MP for me.

Getting all of the unlocks and doing all the original achievements was the fun for me in playing Halo 3 MP. Now I have 900+ games on Steam so there are many other games I tend to play for Multiplayer nowadays.

All Halo 3 Armor is unlocked by default.

As was said, they’re all free. So not only will you still have the recon you earned, but every single kid who’s done so much as download Halo 3 will have it too.

Unfortunately nothing actually transferred over. All armor unlocks for Halo 3 are available by default, including the notorious "Bungie armor".

None of the unlocks for any game are kept from old gamertags, you have to reunlock Reach armor and H3 has all options unlocked by default since there are different achievements.

So.. I H3 just launched but I get mostly cosmetics for halo Ani and reach in the progression seasson? Omg..
