Halo 2 anniversary outskirts co-op freeze/crash/disconnect
For the past few mouths I've been trying to play Outskirts with my co-op partner but we are meet with freeze/crash/disconnect every time we try to play it.

We've tried every difficulty.
We've tried switching from anniversary to classic and back again.
We've tried with all skulls on, half of all skulls on, to no skulls on.

Anyone else getting this problem too?

Have yourself and your friend load the levels in Singleplayer first, then back out and play in Co-Op. I know it sounds like a longshot, but this is literally the only fix that worked for my friend and I. And yes, you have to do it EACH time you play a new level.

Halo 2 wasn't built with online Co-Op in mind, so the netcode is gonna be f*cking bonkers.

Me and my friend can't load into a Outskirts at all. He can't even do it in single player.

That sounds like an issue linked to file corruption in all honesty. Have him verify his file integrity for Halo MCC. If that doesn't work then I have no idea what can be done to fix it, might have to file a support ticket with 343i, assuming they have a system like that.

same issue with a friend, we solved this by booting every mission in classic graphism instead of anniversary. it mean skipping all the good cutcene from the A edition, but at least you can play the levels. On the infiltration with the arbiter do not switch back as the mission is full of cutscene, stay in classic, it suck but i didn't find a better way to do ti
