Halo 2 Gravemind STILL broken?

I'm at the part where Cortana says "you may wanna consider sitting this one out" at launch I ran through the room through the door at the opposite end, I got to another long bridge, but the door won't open. Put the game down. Now that halo 3 is out soon I wanna finish it, but that door still won't open???

you have to kill everyone there otherwise it will not end.

You can actually skip the part of the level. Just kill everyone exept the Brutes, head to the exit door and wait for the Elites. It is actually a legendary sub 3 strat, but if you don't wanna fight everyone, you might consider doing it.
