I like them both for different reasons, and it's great that you can switch seamlessly between the two. I think it was recorded by one of the guitarists from Periphery if anyone is interested in more music with that sound.

The right answer is simply that the song doesn't fit anymore. The game classic versions are from the early 00s where stuff like that was considered cool and ok to do and now nobody cares about some band having a game tie in. Same reason you don't see Halo or CoD kill clips set to Let the Bodies Hit the Floor.

I mean that was just poor wording on my end but it still stands seeing as people thought that stuff was cool back then and tons of people consider things like that cringe now.
