Centered vs Lowered Crosshair

It feels really weird for me to play with the crosshair lowered. I know Halo's maps and levels are designed with the lower crosshair in mind, as it allows for more of a overhead view, but I can't play with it lowered to save my life.

What is your guys's preference: Centered or Lowered?

I use Lowered right now due to Centered's heightened viewarms.
The design philosophy of Lowered is nice to know, but I'll certainly be using Centered at long last if the new implementation is preferable ^^

I play with centered, but wish there was an option to lower the viewmodel because holy crap it needs to not be next to my freaking eye.

I know there will be some sort of option later on to modify the viewmodel.

i just want "classic" option, halo 1 have centered crosshair, and if that POS halo 5 will be add to the collection, it also have centered crosshair, others have lowered crosshair, so i just want the game to use the defult position per game (hell, it wont kill people if classic was the only option for it)

You can set up the classic "centered" crosshair in HALO 2

Centered, I never understood why Bungie insisted on lowered(and even still does with Destiny) and I always hated it after coming back from playing pretty much any other FPS.

Mostly centered but I do play on lower at times.

It's a design decision to allow for a more peripheral and upper vision. The lowered crosshair forces you to see above you somewhat. They have a couple of videos showing why they did it and how it affected their decisions with level design.

I prefer it centered, but I can appreciate how they incorporated the UI to fit the level design.

I use lowered as thats the way I remember it being back in the day, centered just looks weird

Centered just takes too much of the screen, lowered its fine.
