On Xbox 360, there were more options than Reach. More Varients and more visor colors, which was nice, but not very true to lore.
and Idc about halo 5, the full game isnt coming to PC, so we don't need to talk about it
Halo 5 simplified everything to hell for a lootbox economy, making it so there's only the body, visor and helmet + skin variants you can choose from. A lot of the armor sucked in H5 too so it's just worse.
Ah, I remember the Armor Sets and Skins in Halo 4 because that was back when tons of stores had unique pre order bonuses.
As for the topic
Halo 4's customization allowed you to change:
Helmets
Left Shoulder
Right Shoulder
Chest Piece
Wrists
Legs
Visor
Halo 5's customization allowed you to change:
Helmet
Armor
Visor
Granted, Halo 5 has much less options, but it was possible to change individual shoulders, chest pieces and leg armors at one point. It was most likely cut due to Warzone, because it'd have been quite taxing on the vanilla Xbox One.
Halo Reach had more options, but overall, Halo 4 would have the second best customization. An interesting contrast is that with Reach's customization, you're always using the Mark V(B) as a base, and you can't change that. The customization adds pieces to it. Whereas Halo 4's customization has you use entirely different armor pieces.
The MCC version of Halo 4 only has presets of armor. But that will probably change when 4 comes to PC.
I half wonder if the same will occur when Halo 3 comes to PC - I remember it was a good day when I unlocked my Recon armour back on the 360 with the 7 (oh Bungie, you and your 7 addiction) achievements across 3 and ODST. But on console they're all unlocked from the get go.
Quick question - anyone here own the console before it made it's way to PC? Were all the Reach unlockables available from the get go there? What happened when the introduced Season 1?
Console never had Reach until it launched on PC and Console.
Can't remember off the top of my head but, Eternal is the Blue fire right? If so I had it in OG Reach on 360.
Congrats!
