No audio in cutscenes?

So I just booted up the Halo 2 campaign, and the first two cutscenes were completely without audio. Any idea why this is occuring?

When I was playing Halo 2 at the time, I was screwing around with switching graphics modes. Anniversary cutscenes play just fine, but when I switch to original, audio is delayed at least for a few seconds. Not sure if this is related.

For me the original cutscenes have their audio functioning normally, but the anniversary ones are just absolutely silent.

Could be a minor issue with your graphics card. I am not a PC wizard. Just thought it sounded like a possibility.

Same problem, if I use headphone all works fine, but in the cutshene the audio came from my speakers.
In this way I can't use headphone because the only part where they talk is in cutscene

you have music turned off in options maybe?
i think some cutscene audio goes over the music category

If I did have music turned off in the options, wouldn't I not be able to hear music tracks in-level? Because I can.

All audio bars in the menu are set all the way up.

I have this exact problem aswell, except my audio doesnt work in either modes during cut scenes and can confirm its not a gpu issue as it only happens on halo mcc. Like another said, trying to bump this for someone adept to see!

So literally after a level swap my audio came back. No idea *shrugs*
