I m at the last section for some reason i keep failing because the Guardians / guards kill me

Is there a way to do it ? Howmuch time would i have if i kill the guards because they respawn ....

If you do it 100% legit w/o exploits Regret takes 25 melee hits to kill.

If you got plasma grenades as soon as you board his vehicle if you mash the grenade button it should put a grenade inside his barricade and do a crap ton of damage on him making the fight shorter and far less than 25 melee hits.

Also it's RNG you want to get lucky and hope you just get sword elites and not the plasma rifle elites since they're way harder to evade.

I had to get lucky. It took me maybe two or three times. You have to kill them and run in a punch Regret realll quick.

The best strategy I found is only killing the major elites, not killing any of the honor guards. Killing the honor guards spawns in more honor guards with plasma rifles and they are far more annoying to deal with then the sword ones.

You can just keep circling the side platforms every time you punch regret and get off. You can die, but it's been pretty consistent for me overall.

For me, I've found the best and easiest way to finish this mission is going into the room, not killing ANY grunts or guards, then just rush Regret and do your best to dodge the lower accuracy grunts and elites with swords.

It might be a bit of a challenge at first, but the end result, is it will be a lot easier because you don't have plasma rifle elites spawn to replace the swords or grunts, which will snipe you at longer ranges

That part isn't really that hard... especially since you've beaten the harder ones.

Keep trying. Halo 2 wasn't so polished and it is downright unfair sometimes.

youtube @ HaloCompletionist has a pretty sick guide, look at his LASO guide to regret, there's a glitch you can pull relatively easy to keep the guards from spawning until you can block off their spawns with crates, then just walk out and back in and Regret spawns all alone and the guards are trapped.
