Literally stuck on crossing bridge on Assault on Control Room mission

This is so dumb. All I have is the plasma pistol and the alien rapid fire handgun. I kill 1 banshee on the ground with the ONE rocket I have. I can't cross because the other Banshee kills me. Playing on Heroic.

This is impossible. I get to the end finally and two hunters come out.

How do you fly the banshee? I got to one before a big brute did and it just drops straight to the ground.

Let the banshee do an attack dive and take cover before it can kill you. When it's forced to turn around, run. Hunters are pretty easy to dodge in Halo 1, just bait out a melee attack and run past them. Or try and backtrack to get weapons from earlier, though I don't remember if weapons despawn. If that doesn't help, restart the level and be more responsible with your ammo. Pro tip, the Magnum one shots Hunters if you hit their orange bits.

only on heroic and your having issues? CE was kinda easy (apart from a few spots)

You being left with unsuitable weapons is on you. You not being able to get through a section is on how you played up til that point and how you approach that section. The game isn't at fault and you need to relax if you get so mad at games when all is working as intended. Watch some gameplay videos for tips or something.

Use ur rock to knock a banshee over so you can take it. Use it to shoot down the other one and then skip a big chunk of the end mission by flying straight to the doors.

Add me on here if you want and we can run it co-op and I can show ya. Theres some hidden music in the end of the level there too with an acievment ;)

As people said: steal a banshee and take all of the npcs as well as the enemies shooting at you from below! Tip is to save the sealth thingy from the corridor 2 rooms before and use it to stealth across the bridge to the banshee. Thats what I did after dying for 1 hour straight!
