Halo Reach female spartan armor isn't properly sized
Has anyone else noticed how the armor for female spartans are still using the male model? I say this because if you look at NxRA utility on a female spartan, it's actually hanging off the leg a little. The same goes for some shoulder pieces and other utilities.

Who cares? Although male and female have some difference on body proportion, but they are spartans anyways and they are much bigger than the ordinary persons and generally their body have not that different depend on the gender - they are just bigger, regardless of their gender. I remember that the body of Noble 2 doesn't have much difference between the other Noble team members either, despite her gender is different with the others.

Think about the average height of ordinary males and females. They usually have around 10cm of difference. But for the enhanced superhuman, the difference seems not so noticeable as normal ones.

i dont think it has anything to do with gender or a political statement just bad poly imaging that was an oversight

I don't want to say something about boring political statement either. Just... I don't get why their body are needs to be different so much.

It is actually an advantage, isn't? Free of boring sexism and we are able to only concentrate on the game.

Yeah I was just commenting that the armor pieces didn't fit female spartans and looked like they were still the male model. Things like the Softcase utility clearly don't fit and none of the wrist armors fit the forearm properly. dunno it just bugged me

If it does then it would, but it is not - if there is only one type of armor, then why we call it either male or female armor?

I guess you are talking about the customization screen in the menu, made in Unreal Engine? They didn't change anything in the actual game.

So they're properly sized in game?

I don't think anything in the actual game is different. All the armour pieces I use seem to fit fine on both models, although with certain weapons at higher than 70 fov you can see through your own shoulders. Flashbacks of my left arm rotating violently in its socket whilst using a needler.
