(Off topic) Think gears of war will ever come to steam?

I'd love to see gears of war 1,2,3,4 and judgement all on PC at max settings. I absolutely LOVED gears of war 2 and 3, but I feel they have not aged properly over the years.

Define exclusive, because those listed are on steam despite being play anywhere titles.

I think there's a possibility for it, now that Halo has miraculously made its way to PC. I think 2 and 3 will probably remain Xbox only, at least until the time comes for a Marcus Fenix Collection or something where they're remastered. For now, we'll have to make due with 1, 4, and the upcoming 5.

Having played GOW4 I think it's just another in the franchise which is a good game, pushing the limits of Xb1x.\, another run and gun tale.
Whether it's released on PC I don't think the series will be on Steam due to the newer Xb scheduled release.

Why build hardware when you don't have exclusives to sell with it?.

If they decide to re-release them in some form like HD trilogy, they'll bring it to PC. The problem is those games already work on Xbox One so who knows.

But I think that Sunset Overdrive doing well on Steam was part of the reason they brought Halo, so maybe if Halo does well Gear of War will be next. After all the franchise is ongoing and they've announced 3 new games last year.

Gears 1 was always my fav in terms of MP, Gears 4 does alright in MP but ya the campaign was pretty underwhelming, as was the lack of the Swarm mode from Gears 3

Still, would be nice to see them on Steam even though Gears 4 is already available on PC ala Windows Store since Steam is the better place for MP community

Well I think what EPIC has done has made others take note, what better way to bury a competitor by coming up with a more logical approach to what the masses would prefer.

Oh god I wish. I played the first one so many times solo and co-op with friend that I cant even count it. He then bought X360 and played the second and third while I was alone on my PC still playing the first one :( . Finished 2 and 3 only one time on his X360 when I was on visit. I get why some PC players are not really hyped for it because 1st one was good but with "grey" graphics and you could not really feel the conflict but second game proved that GoW is a very good trilogy with very good story. Finished the 4th but the story just felt bland in terms of story and main characters were not that good also I hate the timeskip that happened between 4th and 5th. Also I dont get why they remastered 1st game only, to my understanding it was not the retail PC version that was remastered for W10 and XONE but the X360 version so why they did not make all the games to W10 is beyond me.
