One Xbox One controller adapter supports up to eight controllers.
It sounds pathetic, considering all my childhood friends now have gaming PC's and stuff, but it'd be pretty cool to get back together and play some four player splitscreen, just like old times. Snacks, drinks, no school tomorrow, time to do an all-nighter that turns into a long weekend of no sleep fuelled only by sugar and autism.
I wonder if it'll also include the option to go online with a (1) (2) and (3) version of yourself as well. I remember being thrilled to see anyone with a (1) by their name in any online game, because it typically meant they were handicapped and easier prey...unless it was on your own team, then you just knew you were gonna lose the game lol.
Always seemed like that one (1) guy would go like 0 kills 15 deaths etc.
2 - Because this feature is already in the game, there's no reason to take it out.
3 - Because PC is the one platform that CAN run this split-screen without FPS hits.
4 - Because PC can have multiple controllers on it.
5 - Because you can plug a PC to a TV and enjoy the game with friends. Or play it in front of your monitor, regardless.
There is NO reason for them to remove split-screen from this collection.
Keep in mind that back in the day split-screen was also a "must" but was droped from the PC release.
Im not holding out much hope for it.
