So far nothing suggests that either of these features will come to the MCC release.
However, depending on how they approach mod support, we could be looking at similar scale mods years from now for the MCC games.
Cant wait for the SPV3.2 update. Not gonna lie im more excited for that, than i am Combat Evolved vanilla on PC. (steam)
Mods will have to be built new, and probably won't work exactly the same way when it comes to stuff like what opensauce did.
Basically even if the new engine for Halo 1 in the Master Chief Collection could allow you to copy and paste map files themselves from Halo Custom Edition and would work flawlessly, SPV3 would still need to be recreated from scratch.
However 343 are looking in to Custom Edition support for Halo 1 Anniversary which would still default to a No unless the mod creators felt it would be worth porting over.
