Halo CE voices in campaign incredibly low volume
As the title says, it feels like CE has the same audio bug as reach where the sound sounds like it's coming from far away but somehow explosions in cutscenes nearly explode my eardrums, anyone else having this?

Yeah I have this same bug. NPC Voices are extremely quiet to the point of being completely inaudible, but everything else is normal volume.
It's a known-issue. They still need more time to fix audio code.

Played through Reach, Halo CE, now Halo 2 and when there's ♥♥♥♥ happening (which is almost always) I simply cannot hear what they're saying. And the subtitles are 90% of the times not there either.
Why is there no separate voice volume slider? If I turn down regular sounds, then it also quietens the voices further.

I'll be honest I really don't think this is a bug, go play the original on the OG Xbox and the voices are equally inaudible. Still it would be nice to get a volume slider for it though.

That would just mean that the bug is ancient, not that it wasn't one.

I'm pretty sure the bad audio mix is intentional. You could probably ask O'Donnell himself and he'd say the same thing.

Why would you intentionally make the audio not behave like it should behave? Stop making excuses.
