Not only that, but the remaster actually leaves you at a disadvantage in some areas. Here is an example.

I fell off of this because I thought that the edge was walkable in the remaster, but I fell right through it due to having no collision.
also, the new graphics perform ok, but I prefer the super low input lag of playing 150 fps + all day long
That said, the old graphics are heavily bugged thanks to the botched Gearbox Port, which CE Ani uses as a basis.
Just look at how awful the bumpmapping is. Jackal and Deployable Covers don't even change color when shot.

I look forward to modding tools that will be able to change the collision to more closely match the enhanced graphics.
I bet he enjoys the high bullet spread too.
