Way to make Halo CE look like classic Halo CE?

I'm very happy that Halo CE finally comes to the Master Chief collection on PC, but the way i like to play it is with the classic looks, like on the original Xbox. Unlike the original remastered edition on Xbox 360, i can't find a way to make it look like the original. Is there a way to do this?

You can set during mission start with style you want to use in mission options.
Defeault TAB switches between styles mid-game.

When selecting a mission in the options tab there should be 2 options, 1 for graphics and 1 for audio.

You should set them to Classic instead of Remastered. I don't think pressing the Tab key mid mission changes the audio, but I could be wrong.

performance is very good on classic, when you press tab, but nowhere near as good as the original gearbox CE.

Also, it seems to switch instantly, it's almost like the 2 'looks' are running simultaneously. Is this the reason that the optimisation isn't quite as good as we would expect?

Now that you mention it, that might explain why on the multiplayer (which only uses Classic) I get anywhere between 300 and 700 fps, but on the campaign I only got about 200 fps when using Classic (I only played campaign during the flight so IDK if the 200 thing was a bug).

yeah, same here. i don't think i get much more than 200 fps now with classic in campaign (never played the flights).
