Doesn't the MCC include all campaigns?
Halo: Master Chief Collection includes 6 great Halo experiences. Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary are currently playable. The remaining experiences will be available later in 2020. Purchase The Master Chief Collection Bundle or individual titles for access to available game content.

But I see 2 separate DLCs for Halo CE and Reach. Dafuq? Is MCC multiplayer only and then you have to buy the campaigns separately or what?

It's basically like an early access game...basically it means pre-ordering MCC games collection while only being able to play Halo 1, Reach at the moment while Halo 2 is being ported next.

Dlc is just another way of seperating out the games like a hub. If you bought the full collection then you get them all but if you buy 1 of the games then you only get the 1 MCC hub with the chosen game. MCC is running under UE4, sort of launch's each game.

But in order to even be able to buy the DLCs you need to own the 40 bucks MCC. If you already own MCC, which includes all games, what's the point of buying individual DLCs? Do you get extra stuff for buying those 10 bucks campaign DLCs?

Do you want a broken port like RDR2 and complain here again or do you want to enjoy each game at the pinnacle of optimisation, extra features implemented every time a new game launches. Please go and read Halowapoint post about this "one game at a time" logic. The devs clearly said they will launch all games "when they are ready". Stop whining.

That's an error on Steam's page, you CAN just buy the DLC and play the games you've paid for, no need to buy the whole collection.

What the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with you? I have no idea what the DLCs even do. I'm not talking about technical issues.

At this rate they won't even make 2020 for the entire thing.

You can buy whole collection, or each game one at time

As said: Having several games as DLCs in one collection works best for Steam and the underlying systems.

It was the best decision (technically) MS/343i could have made.

This was talked about alot when reach was comming out. Could of just googled it....

For each game to be put out at laster dates and for people to be able to buy any or all of them steam needs to see the mcc surver as the "bace game" and the "real games" as "dlcs". the mcc surver is linked in with each game so it dosnt matter of you buy one or all of them

For players it dosnt matter, it's just coding to help MCC work how it does
