They've been erasing any semblance of the franchise not developed by them for years. Ironically they do this to make their refuse seem better, but nothing they've developed has been in good taste and anything but generic.

Can't believe they can just take Bungie's last farewell to the community after the utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of an excuse of a game they made cough "halo 5"

Can I get some context here? What was the message? Friendly reminder that not everyone is a halo veteran

I mean bungie has made 2 utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuses for games of destiny 1 and 2 games that they sold for full price and then released full priced games of multiple "expansions" for along with microtransactions out the ass

I mean, it's not their game anymore.

This is honestly the type of thing that would be mandated by Microsoft
Because the message doesnt make any sense for PC...

Not Bungie's fault that Activision made the lead writer leave and made them implement microtransactions

This was the message:

To all our faithful fans -

Thank you for playing Halo: Reach.

Over the past decade, we've shared some of our most memorable experiences together, inside the far reaching expanses of the Halo Universe. It's been one hell of a ride. And we couldn't have done it without you.

As we continue marching towards our ultimate goal of World Domination, Bungie remains inspired and fueled by you, our passionate fan community. So Play, Forge, Film.

We'll see you starside.

❤️ Bungie.

They're visually very nice games but the campaigns are disjointed and not anywhere near as good as Halo CE, 2, and 3. The rest of the PvE is grinding for engrams to get weapons and armour. The PvP is fun but a lot different to Halo, it's closer to CoD and Titanfall as it's faster paced with ADS but with the addition of superpowers, although it has the signature Bungie floaty jump that hangs you in the air for eternity.

2 is free to play so it's worth having a look imo, good enough to stick with and do the grinding after the campaigns? That's a different story.

If the credits don't play then that might be why. I thank Bungie for making CE-reach, but they have fallen since they made destiny, even now that they're no longer working with activison the eververse has a ton of micro-transactions for destiny 2. That final message looks to be made for the og game, because it uses the og ui look for it. maybe it didn't work properly with mcc. Or it's simply because 343 makes the main halo games now.

Idk Bungie's games haven't had the same soul the original trilogy of Halo had since Reach really ://
