stop being bad at the game

Afk players are one thing. Take your "muh toxicity" elsewhere.

Pro tip: mute them and grow up.

wait ppl actually talk to one another on this game? AFK sucks but if its in a social game just move on i mean really.

Toxicity is never acceptable in absolutely any circumstance and you apologists are part of the problem. If *you* can't control yourself and how you behave and speak then perhaps you should consider confining yourself to singleplayer games or turn off chat features for yourselves so you don't ruin others' experiences. Or simply seek some professional help for your internalized anger issues.

AFK EXP farming is a problem though. Freaking Nintendo games have had automatic kicking systems for afk'ers and a game published by Microsoft can't detect a player that has no movement whatsoever for 5 or more minutes? I played tiny indie games that had systems that kick afk'ers from servers, there's no excuse here.

AFK players are a problem that can be solved with join in progress and the removal of a quitting penalty. "Toxic" players are a problem that can be solved by muting them or thickening your skin.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me. I remember being taught that rhyme as a child and it's still true as an adult. Players should never be punished in any form for what they say, to do so would be supremely immature and pointless when you can just mute them.

You are such a wimp lmao
Seek help friend.

I'm glad you guys can have an adult discussion about this. We don't all have to be the children we were when this game first launched.

I was talking mainly about the people telling other to kill themselves and that kind of toxic behaviour that just needs to GTFO out of gaming

And HC please keep on topic or go spread your vile ideals somewhere else

Banter is fine but when you hear your friend being told to kill themselves that's the kind of stuff that needs to be reported

Man, reading these posts - this fandom has some of the most toxic fanboys I've seen from a series in a while. A bunch of manbabies calling people games and insulting them, getting triggered because people dare to criticize a game they like.

Seriously, imagine getting triggered because of other people's opinions about a video game. If only these people could see how embarrassing they are.

Verbal abuse and disrespectful behavior is an essential part of the authentic Halo multiplayer experience. How can I properly re-live the glory days of my youth if I'm not getting teabagged by someone while they call me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over voice chat?

a report button would be nice but just ignore the toxic players

This is the reason I'm beginning to think its not worth investing time back into Halo if the PC community is already like this.

I haven't seen any "toxicity" in the game to be honest, it's been utterly tame so far compared to CS, CoD, Siege, and even Titanfall.
