If you don't believe me, pop your OG 360 Reach in right now and try it in an online Custom Game. You CANNOT do it.
I have the game. You could NOT do it online. I searched the internet for the link I sent you. It clearly says it has to be offline.
Dont act like you know what you're talking about if you:
A: were asking for help in the first place
B: show you clearly didn't play the original game in the first place
People like Rooster Teeth made machinima using LAN or local games. You can make a machinima online, but any scenes with weapon lowering HAVE to be made in Local games.
Don't argue what you don't know. You didn't even post proof, despite the fact that you said "search the internet."
Why don't you search the internet instead of posting on a forum then? I swear man.

Here are the answers to my question (Since I found the solutions yesterday) :
• Download a mod to keybind it. It works both Online and LAN since it is a animation that is coded inside HR. (Easy Anti-Cheat disabled & Mods activated)
• Hard code a keybind to trigger the animation. However, it only works on client-side. (Easy Anti-Cheat disabled & Mods activated)
• Download a map variant that permits you to lower your weapon using x key. (Easy Anti-Cheat disabled & Mods activated)
• There is, currently, no way to trigger this animation on PC on both LAN and Online MCC ; EXCEPT if you own a controller and do all the tricks to succesfully lower your weapon.
You could drop your weapon using tricks. But not lower your weapon.
You're right, this thread was quite the ride.
If you have to mod, you risk getting banned on 360. That's dumb.
Either way, in custom games, there was a really small chance of you getting caught.
Yeah I'm good. I'll just use my buddies' Xbox and a LAN cable + our 5 collective controllers if I need to do any weapon lowering scenes.
Halo 3 and onwards were button combos.
