Having the same issues. Left the game running for 3 hours and still wouldn't connect. Got up the next day and still can not get on.

It happened to me yesterday. I played a campaign mission and it stopped.

Think it just goes away eventually

I had the same issue when I started, so I uninstalled the game, deleted the game folder for steam, reset my internet moddem and turned relays off and turned off my firewall. then I reinstalled halo, afterwards I was able to play online like normal.

hope this helps.....

you could try to check your windows settings, there should be an option category for gaming with an xbox icon, there u navigate to xbox-network.
Under the point 'Xbox Live-Multiplayer' u can read if your connected or not. If your not connectet you can try to push the button on the button to solve that, after that you have to click on the button on top of the first button to load your connectivity again.
After that you should be connectet.
Hope that helps!

For the third time, the original post was from December of 2019. I really hope that they got their problem solved before now.
