Heres what i mean
is it like this
Start port 3074 end port 3074
or is it like this
start port 3074 end port 3544
Anything that's a single port starts at the port and ends at the same port. so UDP 88 start and udp 88 end.
You don't need all of those ports opening on your firewall.
The site is clueless.
To get around NAT limitations you only need to open ports where a game engine listens for incoming traffic and where game engines use a big range of UDP ports that's generally only if you are running multiple instances (e.g if you had a machine running 4 or 5 TF2 servers, each server needs its own UDP port for the clients to send traffic on)
Outgoing connections from your game to either steam or other machines in P2P are already handled by NAT.
How would i go fixing my nat.
Im honestly about to just dispute the charge for this game.I cant play it and valve denied the refund
it depends on your router. Try the solution I posted and to do the single ports just start the range and end the range with the single port. It's worked like a charm for me since then.
