PSA You can play a female spartan.

In both the campaign and the multiplayer you can play as a female spartan by just going into the customize tab and selecting it.

Just wanted to let peeps know since it wasn't super obvious.

F-ing LOVE that option in games.
Sure its a 1st person game but you get to see and hear her speak in the Story atleast.

They even had a separate voice actor. For them in the campaign. Really cool. I did not realize this back in 2010.

Edit: After comparing these two. Her voice acting is pretty bad. Pretty disappointing. Though I'm probably spoiled by Jennifer Hale's Shepard.
