Have you ever actually played comp in PC shooters?
I play with mouse and usually do mid-top of the board. It's better than a controller, even with controller aim assist. Geez.
the game has xinput based 360 controller support, like almost every other game that uses 360 controllers, if you're getting mouse-esk input from a controller, that would be a good sign that other things are happening under the hood.
Yeah, mouse has a secondary smoothing system going on under the hood, beyond the options you can toggle.
Nearly every game on the market does, its an intentional and common marketing scheme to make people enjoy the product more because they think they're good at it, look at ANY namco game, it's littered with that kinda tactic. but it's done to a FAR more seamless effect than what we have here.
the issue isn't the feature itself, it's that the feature needs further refining.
and what Knocks posted, might be the core issue of why it seems so unrefined. good call...
