Or PvE Firefight - both for grabbag and heroic FF.
I don't like multiplayer at all - outside of locally with friends - as I get a really weird form of stress (I guess it's probably anxiety?) when I play with random people online. So naturally this makes the whole game basically pointless for me since I'll always just look like Default Spartan Guy.
Hopefully they decide to be merciful for us offline players in the future. I don't get why they didn't just leave the original credit system in the game, where you could save your credits for the things you actually want...
I think Halo is the perfect game to remedy that. Just don't play Ranked and stick to Social Games. I'm willing to bet a few rounds of Griffball will have you reeling with laughter if it's your first time playing it.
It's up to you of course, but I'm very familiar with what you described - and it WILL slowly go away the more you... experience it.
