Edit: I do not recall correctly. The black visor is unlocked at tier 69, and I saw the blue one in an earlier tier. They're in the game, you just gotta unlock em.
"You can pick any colour you want...as long as it's black"
I sincerely hope they're still in though. Even though you practically never really notice it, it feels wrong not having it there anyway lol.
The black visor is unlocked at tier 69 in the progression system.
Where exactly is that? Level 69? How long does it take to reach the newly fabled Tier 69 level of experience and skill?
The game has a linear progression system where you level up by playing multiplayer/firefight. This replaces the old style of using credits to buy items. Each level gives you an unlock point, which is used to unlock a new tier of items. All you have to do is play multiplayer/firefight matchmaking until you've leveled up enough to unlock tier 69. As for how long it takes... I'm not entirely sure. After playing about 3 and a half hours of multiplayer I'm at tier 10, so a few days to a few weeks or so depending on your skill level and how much you play is my best guess.
Or is it like, one piece of gear per level, which also kinda makes the whole token system a bit pointless if you can only spend it on one thing and you get a new one each time you unlock a new thing, etc.
Sorry if it's some really obvious stuff you could find out in minutes of playing the game properly, haven't played much of Reach yet, I saw the seasonal thing but I was just meh and didn't look too much into it.
Nice
