LowLevelFatalError - D3D device being lost (this crashes every multiplayer game for me)
I keep getting this error that crashes every multiplayer game I join:

Seriously devs, why release a game that has issues this bad?

If anyone has a fix for me, please let me know

Similar issue, but I can't even get to the menu. It gets to the 343 on launch, then crashes.
Difference as well is I am getting 0x887A0006 'HUNG'. Same on everything else however.

My specs:
Intel i7-6700K
AMD R9 Fury (Sapphire Tri-X, air-cooled variant. May need to update drivers.)
16GB DDR4
Loading from HDD
Windows 10.

I'm not going to go through support for this (I must suggest you do however), as I am going to wait until the servers stop dying, and they can get a few bugfix patches out before I try and play again.

I would say update your drivers and start again.

Problem is, I wiped and reformatted my PC about 3 days ago (I do roughly once a year). All my drivers are up to date and shouldn't have any problems.

I have tried validating my game files and 2 files were missing, so I'll update if downloading any missing files fixes the issue.

Edit: I also got the "HUNG" thing.

Strange. Best of luck with the file verification, I'll try the same.
Alright, so the "HUNG" error is gone now that I've validated the files, however it's now been replaced with "Removed" instead.

10/10

Nvidia 1080Ti
16GB DDR4
Loading from an SSD
Windows 10 64bit

I keep having the same problem, only when I play the campaign

if you know how to use event viewer search through it around the times of your crashes to better give an idea as to what is going on instead of Unreals error
CUE Dec 4, 2019 @ 3:44am
Same when I run the campaign

Alright, updated to the most recent AMD drivers, and I can get to the menu.
Campaign SP works fine now.
However, it now just randomly crashes with the exact same error at launch, with a chance to actually work rather than always crashing.
Have not tried MP for stability due to not wanting to wait for matchmaking.

Simple as it may be, try restarting your PC after install.

I'm having the same problem in both campaign and MP. I've updated drivers, reinstalled them, tried older drivers, verified the game files, reinstalled the entire game. Same error every time.

Getting into the game was never the issue, playing through a single campaign mission or multiplayer game is my issue.

Apologies, I wasn't actually addressing you directly, but rather everyone that may be looking for a solution to this.
Going by what I am seeing, there are multiple issues causing similar if not the same symptom, so in "No stone unturned" fashion, I'm just throwing stuff out to help whoever else reads this thread.
Okay so I was having the same problem but using an egpu on the x570 asrock itx board. Anyway I was using a fury card and switched to an old rx 470 and I dont get the "HUNG" error. So try using different gpu if you can
Alright guys, I believe I've found a fix to this issue (at least one that worked for me). I ended up limiting the FPS in the options from unlimited to 60.

Apparently this game wasn't optimised properly before release - it likes to put a lot of pressure on your rig.

I hope this helps.
