Difference as well is I am getting 0x887A0006 'HUNG'. Same on everything else however.
My specs:
Intel i7-6700K
AMD R9 Fury (Sapphire Tri-X, air-cooled variant. May need to update drivers.)
16GB DDR4
Loading from HDD
Windows 10.
I'm not going to go through support for this (I must suggest you do however), as I am going to wait until the servers stop dying, and they can get a few bugfix patches out before I try and play again.
I would say update your drivers and start again.
Problem is, I wiped and reformatted my PC about 3 days ago (I do roughly once a year). All my drivers are up to date and shouldn't have any problems.
I have tried validating my game files and 2 files were missing, so I'll update if downloading any missing files fixes the issue.
Edit: I also got the "HUNG" thing.
Strange. Best of luck with the file verification, I'll try the same.
10/10

Not a lot different from the other guy:
Intel i7-6700K
Nvidia 1080Ti
16GB DDR4
Loading from an SSD
Windows 10 64bit
Campaign SP works fine now.
However, it now just randomly crashes with the exact same error at launch, with a chance to actually work rather than always crashing.
Have not tried MP for stability due to not wanting to wait for matchmaking.
Simple as it may be, try restarting your PC after install.
Getting into the game was never the issue, playing through a single campaign mission or multiplayer game is my issue.
Going by what I am seeing, there are multiple issues causing similar if not the same symptom, so in "No stone unturned" fashion, I'm just throwing stuff out to help whoever else reads this thread.
Apparently this game wasn't optimised properly before release - it likes to put a lot of pressure on your rig.
I hope this helps.
