Halo: CEA Bugs thread

There doesn't seem to be a thread that is discussing bugs (or rather, coherently discussing bugs) so I thought I would make a thread
-Audio is buggy in CE multiplayer. I know the MP used is different then the one shipped with the 360 disc of Halo: CEA, so this can't be related to the port..in my experience audio (like gun noises, for instance) seems tied to server latency. Can be replicated by quickly switching weapons in a large battle. Not sure how a fix would be implemented, but I'm curious to hear if anyone has similar issues.

Anyone else have an issue where you can't pick up weapons with the "Action" button? It doesn't work for me in the campaign and multiplayer, but if I use it to say...climb out of the cryo tube at the start of the campaign, it works. I tried changing the key binding from "E" to something else, same issue. Very frustrating. I"m contemplating uninstalling and re-installing CE:A to see if that fixes the issue.

i can pickup weapons some how even if i change the binding and switching weapons and zooming in seems the work half the time

You have to hold the action button down when trying to pick up a weapon. Look at the prompt when you get next to the weapon and you will see it says hold E.

No weapon issues for me, but a lot of my event triggers are bugged
for example, I wandered by the door in the hanger in T&R for like 5min before cortana started hacking it
Also the achievements are really bugged

I know this is not a bug, but a feature that was in the original shouldn't be removed.

How do I know when to lead my shots if I don't know my latency?

Same here. I know how to do it as I"m a Halo PC vet (have the Gearbox version as well). It's just not working at all for some reason. Glad to know I"m not alone.

Seems that holding any key is useless since the game REPEATS the input instead of simply waiting for the next keypress. Weapon switching therefore sometimes fail if you hold the button just a bit longer, holding a button to swap weapons is useless since it's actually retriggering the button events instead of waiting on the button to be depressed and then pressed again.

Getting bad performance on Anniversary graphics, specs: Ryzen 2600, RTX 2060, 16GB ddr4 ram and it's on my ssd. this is pretty frustrating

Driver update fixed my issues, gtx 1060 here with 400 fps. Might also be due to cleaning space off HDD, but I've heard people talk about this in-game
