Is the INPUT LAG on HALO REACH Campaign COOP already fixed?
Me and my friends bought this game to play the campaign together and I really got frustrated when I noticed that issue and I pretty much abandoned the game because of it.

Does someone know if they fixed the issue? I'd be glad to hear a positive answer.

Apparently making an asynchronous server client model that's existed since Quake is too difficult. Does nobody have the bright idea just to use Firefight/Slayer as a base?

Switching to that and MAYBE something breaking is a better outcome than having unusable controls and nobody playing at all, you know, like those dwindling player counts would suggest.

I'm so disappointed and frustrated, My main intention in buying this game was all about the campaign, at least the MP is working like charm and lots of fun. Anyways, thanks for the replies guys!

poeple, they would have to rewrite the code from scratch, for a game that was NEVER orgionaly meant for PC, and make that play nice with stuff made for PC, its way more of a ♥♥♥♥♥ to do than ya think, and on top of that they very likley have all hands on deck for infinite, so they are also shortstaffed somewhat on the poeple needed to do this very thing

Stop giving them excuses. Like said before, they could have used how they did Firefight to play the campaign. I really hate these fanboys defending the developers who did a rushed job at this game just because their blind loyalty of Halo... smh, really... you think this is going to fly? At the end, it IS and WILL be THEIR responsibility, if you like it or not. Either THAT or they should never even have tried to release it on pc if they are too ♥♥♥♥♥ to handle the backlash.

In theory, you guys should have a lot less problems with the rest of the MCC collection. So perhaps just play some firefight or some other great co-op games until those hit the scene.

Does the rest of the Halo games use superior network infrastructure for the campaigns as well?
Reach had such a bad one, not just input lag but 10 second long hangups of just trying to sync players again for no good reason, when all other games on steam work like a dream in coop.
If they want to sell us on this being not a simple port job but a rebuild from the ground up to be the best PC MCC experience, like they told us when they made the announcement a year ago, then they need to work on the network code, just take the work they did in firefight & mp and put that in campaign if nothing else.

For all those defending 343 that they are like some holy company working their ass off... one question though... Did they already fixed the voice-chat button to be able to customed to another button on the keyboard? IF they can't even manage THAT then... LMAO. But they sure have time of "ugly sweater" and "black lives matter" banners and BS game-modes nobody enjoys and taking away Griffball (or making it even MORE difficult to play), the only silly game-mode that was actually fun every now and then... sigh

You mean a lazy port that is not at all optimised for pc gaming? (except if you like the "console experience" of 60 fps because unlimited fps is "experimental... LMAO) I mean, I took reading classes and I can read it right there, and anyone who has atleast a bit of self-respect should admit this is NOT optimised at all for pc gaming standards.

I know I'm quite late to the party but I still want to say: if you charge 40 dollars for a game, then the excuse that "it was never meant for pc" really means nothing because you are selling me all of it's features, it the game says that it has co-op campaign I would very damn well expect that it works.
