Just the Tip achievement

Hi people,

I have every achievement for HALO Reach, expect the Forge one obviously since that mode hasn´t been launched yet. But, the achievement for "Just The Tip" (Complete Tip of the Spear in Par-Time) will not unlock for me. I have done multiple attempts to unlock this one over and over again over the past month, but it just won´t unlock.

I tried re-installing the game and have watched Noble Actual and the endgame part multiple times. Still, no luck.

Does anyone know how I can unlock this *final achievement?

I don't think that's the right name for it :P
The achievement is bugged on Steam right now. Have you earned it according to the Xbox account achievements, and the in game list?

The achievement has been bugged for nearly everyone who’s attempted it. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon, though it probably won’t.

The name? In the achievement list on Steam the name is ‘Just the Tip’ ? While I see on the internet ‘Generous Tipper’... weird

Anyhow, Yes, it seems I have the achievement according to the in-game list and on xbox. Just not on Steam where I want it to be... Fingers crossed that it wil be solved anytime soon..

Yeah if you look at the global stats for achievements you can see all the Reach related ones have some % completed. Even the forge achievement for those I presume have done it on XBOX Reach forge and it carried over. "Just the Tip" is lost in the crowd of the other games achievements because 0.00% of players has unlocked it through steam.

I'm sure this'll be a thing like; once it gets resolved, complete TofS at any pace and it'll trigger the achievement. So don't worry bout it, you've got it and it'll show up on steam eventually/hopefully.

It's the only achievement that hasn't been translated in french on the website Xbox.com. On steam this achievement is french but not on Xbox website, and that's the only one, I don't know if there is a link between this and that we can not unlock it. Just an idea

You are lucky it's only this one for you, I have several that do not unlock (like the one where you have to kill two vehicules with one orbital strike or the one where you pilot the phantom and pelican). Some people are even unable to unlock any achievements.
343 acknowledged the problem I think, but they are focusing on fixing the gameplay first.
And seeing how slow the updates are rolling in, I think we are going to wait a long time for something as secondary as achievements
