Issue: Connecting to Server

So,
I start up MCC on PC, head to multiplayer and when I press "Play" and get a message saying "Contacting server to get the latest matchmaking data. Please wait.".
I have reset my computer, reset steam, restarted Halo MCC and I am still cant play...

I think there are server problems, I've been searching for a game for like 40 mins now and can't find one

Cheers mate, glad to know I am not the only one. Must be some server side updates going on. I couldn't find much on the server outage maps online, nor in any 343 posts so I'm glad to know its not a ME issue.

I wish i could even get to that play screen. I dont even get that far. Ive also tried that fix it doesnt do anything it just tells me ive unlocked customizable options that it doesnt even let me view -_- im so frustrated
