Lets talk lore.
So I re-finished reach (again for the 20th time since 2010) but this one question has always lingered. Canon-wise Noble Six's armor is the default armor setting, Where does our multiplayer spartan stand in the grand stage of halo lore? Is our multiplayer spartan canon? Or are we all just Noble six?

I suspect that default armored Noble 6, male, is canon. But as far as I know, only in Halo 4 and 5 is our multiplayer spartan canon. I can't remember where I read that, though..

Yeah It does make sense. I mean I really like my spartan and it pains me to see her die (spoiler if anyone hasn't finished the game) in lone wolf. To me my spartan is still alive out there. I know its kinda silly to think that. But I put in alot of time to creating her.

HAHA I've seen that video!! All jokes aside I know Six is dead. I mean he gets stabbed by two energy swords. unless he's using god mode he is deader than Elvis. What I probably should have said was "I'd like to think my spartan was part of a different fire team and managed to survive the battle of reach" But hey that's what personal lore is for right?

As much as I fricking hate 343, I like the idea of the multiplayer aspect of the game being just a simulation to train Spartans.
What's the name of Reach's ai? Auntie dot was it?
Anyway, maybe said ai is running endless tests to see if Noble Six is a worthy candidate of the title of ''hyper lethal'' and being part of Noble team.

I dunno, those are my 2 cents

The reason why most of the artwork for Noble Team doesn't have Six in I believe was because they didn't want the player to feel like their Noble Six wasn't 'canon'. Your Noble Six IS Noble Six.

I could be wrong about this. But before 343 Industries took over, I really doubt that multiplayer in general was ever considered lore. Cause in that case, why were we able to choose elites as well? Especially in Reach, when the UNSC and Covenant were definitely not allies.

That being said. I kinda miss lore not being part of multiplayer. It was fun having playable elites. Maybe one of these days they'll return. Brutes as well! That'd be amazing.

actually not once during the final cutscene do you see and energy sword hit noble 6 the only weapon that touches 6 is a wrist energy dagger thing which is not a full sword and you don't even see that happen because it cuts to black right before the dagger makes contact.

i do think 6 is dead though...

naw he dead.

the player character i think purposely has no set look, gender or armour, just a backstory.
also i'm not entirely sure this is confirmed or just speculation but its possible noble 6 was once a headhunter and thus the amour worn in halo reach is a new set of armour making whatever you wear technicly cannon because there is no pre-look set in place.

also noble team were not the only spartans on reach, in the mission lone wolf you can find a bunch of dead spartans laying around.
