any way to revert to previous checkpoint?
So i've spent about 2 hours going through the ship mission on legendary, just disabled the corvette's engines. For whatever reason, the game decided it was a good time to checkpoint as i was spiralling out with 0% hull integrity, so now i die whenever i respawn. Is there any way to revert to a previous checkpoint without restarting the mission entirely???

If you die too many times (around 5 or 6) right after that checkpoint, the game will take you back two checkpoints.

Make sure that you do NOT exit the mission, just let it kill you enough times. If you exit the mission, it deletes previously saved checkpoints.

Didn't work on Reach (PC) version, suicided 20 times with grenade, then let Elite kill me around 15 times still stuck.

Make sure you die within 5 seconds each time. It has to be a streak 5 quick deaths and then it will go back 2 checkpoints.

Didn't work. I die zero seconds after the checkpoint. I left the game running 20 min. Come back and I'm still dying in a loop. BTW, happened to me in the EXACT same spot as you.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
