Like for my pc settings? Its just my speakers. It is the only option available. Every other game and stuff works fine just not MCC.
They said they will fix all these audio issues in the next update. But nobody knows when.
Yes it sucks.
Hey bud I found a solution. Start MCC, Press windows button and g at the same time to open the game bar/xbox menu, there should be volume/audio controls somewhere there. Just scroll down to mcc and enable audio!
didn't work for me all audio is on
Go into Sound Control Panel, Right Click your Pixel Buds and click both the Set as Default Device, and Set as Default Communications Device options on it.
That worked for me.
- Right click your volume button in your taskbar and click "open sound settings".
- Scroll down until you see "Advanced Sound Options" and click "App volume and device preferences".
- Find the MCC option and crank up the volume to 100, bear in mind that the game should be running to see this option.
- Your issue is hopefully fixed!
- open "sound settings" in windows. Use window search bar.
- Scroll down to Advanced Sound Options" and open
- Scroll down to "App Volume" Halo Master Chief collection Will NOT be listed.
-Keep sound setting open while you start the game Halo.
- When Halo is in the menu screen, use Alt+Tab to switch back to the sound settings.
- "Halo Master Chief Collection" should now be listed under the "App Volume"
- Change output/input "default" setting to "Headset"
Sound issue should be fixed.
It's selecting the hands free one which I guess has the microphone in it. I should be able to choose between the 2 for the best audio experience.
Using the QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II from Bose
What this means that unless the developers let you swap which one it goes to, your best bet is wired headphones. They ignore the headset capability it seems. I have a set of Bose NC 700s that have the option to be plugged in via wire, and they work wonderfully for the sound when plugged in, yet when not plugged in only function with the headset option. So yeah, just an oversight with big repercussions.
I don't know how much the other answer truly answers the question either as when I tried that one, the collection was already at 100. There was another one too, but greyed out. I doubt that I could do anything with it, so plugging in normal headphones seems like the only option left. If anyone has a better solution, please let me know.
