Easy Anti-Cheat: Untrusted system file (C:\Windows\System32\normaliz.dll)
During game launch I get two errors - 0xc00007b and Easy Anti-Cheat Untrusted system File (C:Windows/System32/normaliz.dll).

I tried some internet solutions. The 'sfc /scannow' tool couldn't recover some files (I'm not sure if it was trying to recover the normaliz.dll though, because in the CBS.log there are no mentions of the file). Also I tried to download valid version of the .dll and place it near game launchers ('...Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection' and '...Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Binaries\Win64') or to turn off my anti-virus, but nothing helped.

Are there any other ways to solve the issue other than reinstalling Windows? I totally do not want to do that right now.

Well at least it's possible to play singleplayer with non-anticheat mode available from the Steam library. No multiplayer obviously. :(

So I had the same error code, but not the follow up Easy Anti-Cheat Untrusted system File (C:Windows/System32/normaliz.dll) so I don't know if this will work for you, but what finally fixed it for me was uninstalling all of my Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable files (both x86 and x64) through Programs and Features, then downloading the latest x64 Visual Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019 Redistributable straight from Microsoft.

Hope this helps.

I fixed it by installing all Windows updates from Windows Update section, including major 1909 update.

Same problem here. Windows updates did not fix it for me though. Tried all the other fixes except reinstalling the entire PC. Any other alternatives?
