Typical. Smfh.
Games are inherently made to be played with whatever input method is available to the player.
Mods can close this now.
-Windows has a feature to make usb ports go to sleep. Unlikely, but a possibility
-Damaged usb port, or damaged cable
-Damaged controller, try another one.
- Uninstall/reinstall driver for xbox controller
- someone on another thread said theres a steam setting for xbox controllers that might need to be turned off but I cant for the life of me remember exactly what setting. Worth taking a look if the controller is known good.
-If its wireless, and you're not using the xbox wireless adapter - then amybe thats why.
-if its wireless, and you are using an xbox usb adapter, its posible it needs to be re-paired, or the adapter is faulty, or the driver for the bluetooth adapter needs to be reinstalled
orrr the adapter needs to be replaced.
- if there is no adapter, but it is wireless, then it is certainly using bluetooth.
if it is using bluetooth, it is possible another application is conflicting with the bluetooth signal.
-it is possible the bluetooth chip on your MoBo is starting to fail.
-it is possible you just need to reinstall the bluetooth drivers on your mobo, or update them.
-Its possible you have another device that also is recognized by windows as an xbox controller. You can check in device manager for a potential conflict. I know that tactical commander game pads part keyboard, but with analog stick) is recognized in windows as an xbox controller. If you plug that in at the same time as your regular controller it can have a conflict.
Thats all I can think of atm. o7
Otherwise, does the controller have the issue in any other game? Or just MCC
And yes, those tools were tools and seem to haven't changed.
