Report a translation problem
It's been a while but I SWEAR Halo 1 didn't sound this bad on PC.
It's a problem with the sound engine and the port. Devs said they have to fix it. Who knows when it will happen though.
This is a pretty horrible issue to leave in at launch, why would they even release it like this???

If you mean in Windows then no, I tried playing with both my headset and speakers and both sound the same. And none are set to surround sound.
Yes i can confirm this. I tried everything. I even tried widows spatial sound turning it on. Not helped a bit...
