The order it is released in.
I would say you probably want to play Halo 3 ODST Before Halo 3 but After Halo 2 {Though that isn't required.}
2. Halo: Combat Evolved
3. Halo 2
4. Halo 3: ODST
5. Halo 3
6. Halo 4
I was gonna put Halo 5 but that isnt in the collection even though it will probably come later but it would be number 7 on the list if it was in the MCC
theres other games that arent in the MCC like the 2 top down shooter games, 2 rts games, and the 1 arcade game but honestly no one cares about those so this list is all you need to know if you wanna play them in order
That said nothing wrong with starting with reach and then play each one as they come out.
I concur with playing in original release order.
halo 1/combat evolved
halo 2
halo 3
halo 3 ODST
halo reach
halo 4
and, if halo 5s gonna be coming at some point, halo 5
although as far as im aware they arent all gonna be released at launch, so reach is all that theres gonna be to play i think, i could be wrong though
