Deranked to first level because of macro

I accidentally hit my macro key that I used for dead by daylight that hits the space bar constantly and I got reprimanded. 😞🙄
Anyway to contest this???

Assuming it was genuinely an accident, you're probably still not getting your progress back. Anyone can claim it was an accident and most afk farmers probably would do that to try to get off the hook. If they implemented a system to combat macros, you're probably screwed, sorry.

It was an accident. It’s to spam the space bar in dead by daylight to struggle so I don’t have to do it. It wouldn’t benefit me in the slightest in halo. Anyway. That ♥♥♥♥ happened. I kept jumping in game. The macro didn’t turn off. I literally had to hold the hold button on my pc to reset it because I couldn’t even exit windows or end the game with task manager . I deleted the macro bind after . So stupid. Smh

regardless of if your reset was legit or not this gives me hope that something might be done about actual afk farmers since they are spreading outside grifball now and ruining regular matches too.

Lots of games either ban or discourage macro usage. The reason?

Uh, I'm guessing its because nice keyboards are super expensive, and can be potentially unfair to other players? You can rope multiple commands together with a single push of a button instead of having to push two or three different ones? I can think of plenty of reasons to justify macro ban.

I do have a keyboard that can do macros as well but I don't bother programming them in because (a - its kind of a pain in the @$$, but b- its usually discouraged.)
