Favorite Weapon

Title says it all. Gimme your favorite weapon overall. I don't care how you use it or what mode you use it for, I just wanna know what your favorite is. Also bonus question do you typically prefer UNSC or Covenant weapons?

I only made this out of curiosity while I get paired up for a 8v8 match.

my fav weapon would be the brute pistol which is called "type-52 pistol"

halo 2 sword has an insane lunge distance. and i prefer covenant weapons

fuel rod has lots of ammo
carbine is better than br
plasma pistol for noob combo
gravity hammer is better than shotty

If I am being honest, I really do like the AR the best. Sounds good and feels good to use at its intended range. I do prefer the Covenant weapons due to how they are projectile weapons though.

AR+two spikers from H3 all day all night and sometimes brute pocket shotty.

Mm yeah I like the AR in FFA. Track their head then up close melee for a quick kill. And I like plasma grenades.

I feel the Energy Sword is the most satisfying to kill with, followed closely by the Gravity hammer. Design wise the red plasma repeater from ODST is my favourite and overall I like the more foreign weapons. Like the sentinel beams or the flamethrower from Halo 3/ODST.

oof, this is a tough question.

I think Halo 3 Assault Rifle.
It's not particularly amazing at anything.
In fact, it's almost always replaced by something else ASAP.
But it's just so satisfying, sexy looking, and iconic of a weapon.

I think I generally prefer UNSC weps over covie weps in terms of gameplay.
But I can't deny the covie weps are a lot more interesting to both look at and use.
