And that's only if it doesn't support DS4 from the get-go, no word on that yet, but it will indeed support "Generic controllers," whatever that means.
Yep, it's one of the main advantages of PC. You can connect any type of controller to it.
But I feel like that's not what you meant? I also have a Dualshock 4 V2 and my main problem is if it doesn't show the Playstation buttons, like the X, square, etc. I can't really adapt to the Xbox's layout, since it's very confusing.
If what you meant is the second case, I also don't have a definitive answer. All we can hope is for the devs to add it/ Steam including them in Big Picture mode
Excuse me???? Maybe at the time I didn't have money for a PC and the PS3 had free multiplayer, so I don't really see your point???? I never wanted to pay for multiplayer, so when I ditched my PS3 for good I bought a gaming desktop.
Besides, almost my entire family had a Sony console/handheld, so it was a no brainer which product I'd get
IMO in terms of button layout, i would say that the PS controller is actually much better. i find the twin sticks being next to each other much more practical on the PS than the xbox awkward placement of the d-pad, since most games these days require use of the sticks much more than the d-pad.
the xbox controllers button layout would of made sense if it were still the 1980s when you played most games with just a d-pad.
