Reminder: Halo 5 sucks and has no business in the CHIEF collection

Halo 5 sucks. Why? You only play as chief 3 times. In a main series Halo game. This is the only Halo game to feature MULTIPLE campaign "levels" where the only thing you do is talk to NPCs. Legitimately. You just talk to some friend NPCs and that's the level. The warden boss shows up in the beginning of the game and you fight the SAME BOSS 8 TIMES. You'd think maybe he'd get some new mechanics but NO. He does the same attacks every fight and you can tell 343 just copy and pasted him in. 8 TIMES?!?!?!?!? REALLY?!?!?

Lets get back to only playing chief 3 times. Yeah, you play as Spartan Locke who is basically a weak character and nobody cares about him. Imagine buying a Superman game and you only play as Superman 3 times. THAT WOULD BE KINDA STUPID RIGHT? Well nobody told 343/MS that.

Then there's the squad gameplay mechanics. Oh god, the PTSD. So, you're supposed to have a squad of 4 and AI controls this squad of yours at all times. As part of the new squad mechanics they implemented a call-of-duty zombies esque revive system to avoid death. HOWEVER, the AI's logic is so terribly broken that maybe 1/4 of the time they will NOT REVIVE YOU. They'll just stand beside/behind you saying voice lines like "Chief's down!" etc it's so stupidly annoying. ALSO if your AI is being stupid and dies a lot (which is unavoidable) you will have to revive them several times as well.

Then there's the promethians. Promethian dogs and terminator robots have LESS variety then the covenant/flood. The promethians have a "soldier", a "knight", a hellhound like "dog" annnd some flying "done" guys. That's it right? Did I miss anyone? Oh the warden.
These promethians also use the same type of orangy ranged "energy attack" no matter which type you're killing. It's boring, and repetitive.
At least in the old Halo games you would get a break from fighting the covenant for a while to fight the flood, and then they'd bring the covenant back in at the same time.

There's more BS with this game too. They marketed this as a game SHOWING Master Chief capturing/beating Locke and then Locke capturing/beating chief. But does the game have anything to do with fighting the other spartan? Other than 1 cutscene, no. You just get punched by Locke. Wow, big whoop. There's no spartan boss battles, there's no morality choices, and there's no "hunt the truth". The marking team KNEW this game was going to be complete BS and as a result a lot of the marketing is completely unrelated to how the game actually plays.

The ending is a cliff hanger and relatively disappointing.

It's ♥♥♥♥ing sad to see what 343 did to ya boi Master Chief in Halo 5. Seriously, how you gonna do him like that? He didn't deserve to get 3 levels in his own game. He didn't deserve to be a side character in his own universe. If Halo Infinite is as ♥♥♥♥ as Halo 5, this series is as good as f*cked, so lets hope not.

Thank god creative director for Halo 5 Brian Reed is gone from 343 because he was awful.

SO TO ALL YOU SAYING WE NEED Halo 5 in the "Master Chief Collection PC": it doesn't belong in the MCC.

I have a moral obligation to advocate 343 never waste another second developing Halo 5 for PC. It needs to be sent to a Halo Ring, activated, and blown into space dust where humans will never ever come into contact with it.

The story wasn't memorable to me. I can't recall all of it, but in very general terms Cortana is becoming hostile and Chief tries to reunite with her. The ending turns out to be a cliffhanger and is not resolved in any satisfying way. I would definitely look up like "Halo 5 plot" for a better summary.

Halo 5 has arguably some of the strongest multiplayer in the franchise only rivaled by Halo 2, say what you will about the campaign but to not want it on PC is just stupid.

It would primarily be played on PC for multiplayer, it makes no sense for it not to be here.
