Though i play exclusivly in first person as i find third person to be immersion breaking but this modpack has the nasty habbit of occasionally dropping me in third person mode when i exit any menus.
So, the problem with this equipment mod is that everything that is in your favorite list will be added on your character including multiple of the same items.
Any idea how it looks when my character is wearing 8 steel swords, 2 2h maces, a fire staff, a shield and 5 torches?
It looks absolutely ridiculous.
Im sure it can be configured but i couldn't be bothered to.
So even though i do not play in third person, i now knew what it looked like and was reminded of that every once in a while.
So... i disabled it.
To answer your question. I don't know.
But, this is from the Q&A on the nexus page for that mod:
Q: I've set position in the display manager, why doesn't it apply to the equipped item?
A: Positions configured in the equipment slot/custom views affect only the display. It'd be counterproductive to attempt shoving general gear positioning in that area because each gear node (sword back, dagger hip, dagger ankle, etc.) requires unique positioning configuration to look right. That's why the Gear nodes view is provided, it affects both equipped and displayed items and each gear node can be configured separately. Always use it to position your gear. Use the transform controls under a display only when you need to make changes to that specific display but not to the equipped item.
Im not sure if that's what you meant though.
