How can I download this mod for non-Steam versions of Skyrim?
Is it possible for me to use the Xbox Game Pass for PC version of Skyrim to download and play this mod? The official site seems to only link to this Steam page.

For the game pass version you probably should use the nexus version which is the same one as the Steam version here: https://www.nexusmods.com/enderalspecialedition/mods/1

For further support on the linked Special Edition version visit the Discord server that is linked on the mod page: https://discord.gg/s9H925auNN

Do you have any source for this?
I only read it in mutiple articles that they are not limited at all.

SKSE does not work which is vital for Enderal. You will have to purchase it to play Enderal, but usually lots of cheap deals. And very much worth it

A definitive answer for y'all:

Gamepass installs your games in secure little mini virtual harddrives which they make inaccessible to the player. No modding except what's accessible in the game menus. even then...

Source: I had gamepass for 3 months and played several games on it. They may change this for skyrim but I REALLY doubt it.

There are actually a small handful of Game Pass games that have a little "Enable Mods" button on the right edge of the "Play" button (once you've installed them). This turns the game from a Windows App to a good ol' fashioned install with an executable.

Skyrim is one of these...but the Game Pass version is *only* the Special Edition, and I honestly don't have the patience for figuring all that out yet (Especially as, as others mentioned, SKSE doesn't work with this version, last I checked) .

If it turns it into a regular install you should be able to figure skse for it but that'd probably require the skse developers to do it as I think it requires some aspect of steam. So that turns it in to a maybe. If I ever get gamepass again I'll certainly try to put skse on skyrim and see.

If I add Non-Steam Skyrim Special Edition to my Steam Library, will it be possible to download the mod, or does it HAVE to be the Steam version for the Steam Mod (I am aware of Nexus Mod, but I would like to get those 84 achievements offered on the Steam Version of the Mod).

I will never understand why people buy games on xbox or Windows Store. Only RottenApple(tm) is more locked.

You need to own Skyrim SE on the same platform, whether it is Steam or GOG, because on those platforms Enderal comes with a modified Skyrim (standalone). The ones on Eddoursul.win and NEXUS does not (only the mod itself).
